Life consists of the moments you remember most
Today, I remember "the moment" of September 11, 2001. That particular
morning, I arrived home from my early morning job to find my roommate glued
to the television. She told me that a plane had hit the World Trade Center.
As we began to watch, the second plane hit the buildings and it was confirmed as a terrorist attack. In those
moments, I felt many emotions including confusion and sadness. I know
that the survivors of those lost during the attacks may still
experience those same emotions today, on the anniversary of the heart
breaking tragedy. Today, I would like to say a prayer for them:
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray for the survivors of those
lost in the 9/11 attacks. Thank you for watching over them and giving them strength
and peace. Comfort their hearts and heal their emotional wounds. Help
them to continue to find the strength to move forward in life. Show them
how to celebrate the lives of those lost, by being a blessing some how to
others. Lord show them your great love for them that passes all
understanding. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
