Why Don't You Like Yourself?

There are so many teachings available about how our thoughts affect our life both inside and out (see below). And I encourage you to read them. We all at some point in our lives have looked in the mirror and thought, "I wish something was different, or why I am I the only one in my family with this problem?" That's normal, we all are critical of ourselves at times but it is not right to continue to be that way. I truly believe that each of us (every human on the planet) was created by God. Created for good and not evil, to prosper, succeed to be and do something great! You may be thinking, "Yea but not me!", Yes You Too!!!
I've over the years learned to love myself and all of the quirks that come along with being me. The bible says, we were made in His image...so I think God must have a little quirkiness about Him too. :-)
God loves you, adores you & even has your name tattooed on His hand!!! If He can make you a permanent part of Him, can you at least try to love what He created? Yourself!
I know the road may seem long to loving yourself but by reading this blog you took or have taken another step towards self-love. God knows your issues and is willing to solve them all. Just take a step of faith and pray this prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, I want to love myself the way you love me. Thank you for showing me how you love me. I open my heart to receive your love which already lives in me. I thank you now that I am delivered from self hatred and low-self esteem. I am free and walking in the sunshine of your every so present love now! In Jesus Name I pray Amen!
If you prayed that prayer know that God will work with you to bring you out of that darkness and into His light. It may not happen over night but know that it will happen. Your job is to stay hopeful, find materials that encourage you to love yourself & if you fall into bad thinking know that He still loves You and will lead You back to Him every time! I promise He will never get tried of you and His patience does not run out! Believe me I know this for a truth! Sending my love and God's Best to you all!
